A sweet spot for Daggubadu people around the world!

I realize that there are many successful people from our village who are living away from home continuing their journey of life in different places in India or different countries throught the world . Most of us know about blogging for past several years, but I am not sure how many of us really taken time to post all our thoughts and ideas. I have been thinking to start a blog for myself and never practically did it. But after reading today's Eenadu news paper, I am inspired to open a blogspot for at least my village where I was born, raised and have lot of sweet memories since my child hood. This is for all those people who wants to share their memories, express their ideas, discuss issues related to the village etc.,I believe sky is the only limit for the scope of this blogspot.

I welcome all of you to contribute and hope this will bring us more closer by recalling all those sweet memories each of us had when we were in the village.

Since my childhood i used to spend all my pongal and summer holidays at Daggubadu..i luv spending my holidays at Daggubadu..MY grandpa is retired post master,Ponnam Koteswara Rao..My sweet home is very nice palce where we used to have lot of fun..My grandpa has green hands..He grows all vareities of vegetables in our home and my granny prepares Yammy Yammy dishes for us when we go there..My granny fills our hearts with festive mood from the first day we arrive there..she puts colorfull rangolies infront of our house which is a marvellous art work that comes from her hand..She prepares variety dishes for us ..one of my fav dish which she prepares is gongura chatney..No one can nake as tasty as she and one more item is chekkalu made with butter ,wow! my mouth is watering even if i just think of those dishes..I used to go to post office when my grandpa worked there..I came to know many things like saving money in post office and how to write a letter and post it,these things may seem to be silly but its sweet memory for me as i wrote my first letter ..In evenings i used to go to my mavayya's house which is very near to my home..I used to call him pappulu mavayya as every time i go to their house he gives me groundnuts to eat..We have fields there and they are very far to our house..We used to go on long walk along the fields..They look like green carpet covering the earth..My babayi's daughter Siva Jyothi, she is one of the person who makes my trip to daggubadu a memorable one every time..we used to have lot of fun..we used to share every thing about studies, gossips about friends, what not every thing..In this hectic and artificial life if i think of those green fields and the love and affection my grandpa and granny shows towards us ,i feel relaxed
