I realize that there are many successful people from our village who are living away from home continuing their journey of life in different places in India or abroad. I welcome all of you to contribute to the blog and hope this will bring us more closer by recalling all the sweet memories each of us had when we were in the village. -Venu

Hi All,
ReplyDeleteMy ancestors (3 to 4 generations prior to mine) are from here and I am still connected with this village as I have few relatives still living there. My self Sasidhar Daggubati from bangalore, My father sri Daggubati Poorna chandra rao stayed in this village for 25yr before moving to vijayawada in search of job. My father's brother sri daggubati prabhakar rao served daggabadu commity high school as RA and expired in 2007. & his family is still in this village. My grand father sri. Daggubati Sambasiva Rao is role model in Daggubadu, He served as karanam, intelligent mathematician & first person in village to own Oxford dictionary to Grahmphone & radio in his days. We are still identified in this village with his name. When ever i visit this place, i feel i'm in heaven, you can easily find the difference with the aroma of the fresh air. Daggubadu is famous for two things, Agriculture & Culture. People who are interested in visiting this place, dont forget two things 1.Gramadevatha sri. Nagarpamma ammavari temple 2.Voori cheruvu with kaluva poolu in the early morning beauty.
Thanks,
sasidhar.
Hi Sasidhar,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts and memories!
I know your uncle Mr Prabhakar Rao as I studied in the same school.
I have posted pics of Ammavaru, you probably saw that. Also I have chinna cheruvu Pic, but probably not the one you described. I think that one you referred is close by the Mosque or Bus Stand.
Keep in touch.
Thanks
Venu
